Connections Unlimited is an open, unlimited word classification puzzle inspired by the viral daily puzzle sensation. You are presented with a grid of sixteen words. Your objective is to discover the underlying relationships and sort the words into four distinct sets of four words.

Unlike standard daily word games that lock you out after a single puzzle, Connections Unlimited gives you instant access to dozens of themed and general knowledge boards. You can practice as long as you want, sharpen your deductive thinking, and test your vocabulary across pop culture, sports, geography, and wordplay.

Understanding the Four Difficulty Colors

Each set of four words corresponds to a specific color indicating its relative difficulty:

• 🟨 Yellow (Straightforward): Direct associations, such as parts of a bicycle, shades of blue, or breakfast foods.
• 🟩 Green (Moderate): Clear connections that require slightly deeper trivia or category knowledge.
• 🟦 Blue (Challenging): Words with multiple meanings, specialized jargon, or subtle linguistic links.
• 🟪 Purple (Tricky Wordplay): The hardest tier. Often involves homophones, rhymes, palindromes, or words that follow a common prefix or suffix (e.g., words after "Golden").

Tips to Solve Connections Without Losing Lives

1. Beware of Red Herrings: The puzzle creators intentionally place 5 or 6 words that fit a seemingly obvious theme. If you see five fruits, stop! One of them belongs to another group (like computer companies).
2. Shuffle Frequently: The initial layout is scrambled to place distracting associations next to each other. Clicking Shuffle rearranges the visual board and breaks mental fixation.
3. Pay Attention to "One Away": If the simulator tells you your guess was "One away", exactly three of your selected four words are part of a legitimate category. Keep three and swap the fourth!
